Already qualified? Apply for Level 1 credit

If you already hold a recognised coaching qualification, you can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning and gain UPCC Level 1 status without sitting the course or test.

Built for experienced coaches

If you already hold a recognised coaching qualification, you don’t need to repeat the fundamentals on a UPCC Level 1 course. Submit your evidence, our team reviews it, and once approved you receive your UPCC Level 1 credential and full member portal access.

Who it’s for

If you have done the work, claim the credential

RPL is for coaches whose track record already covers the Level 1 syllabus. If any of these sound like you, we want to see your evidence.

  • Certified coaches

    You hold a Level 1 or higher pickleball coaching credential from another recognised body.

  • School PE teachers

    You teach pickleball as part of a school physical-education programme and have formal sport-coaching training.

  • Club & community coaches

    You run regular club or community sessions and have documented experience coaching beginners and intermediates.

  • Cross-discipline coaches

    You hold a recognised coaching qualification in a related racquet or court sport and have transferred those skills to pickleball.

How it works

From application to credential, in three steps

No course, no test. Submit your evidence and our team handles the rest.

  • Apply

    Complete the application form below and attach your evidence (Level 1 certificate or equivalent supporting document).

  • UPC reviews

    Our team reviews your application and gets back to you. If approved, we send you a Stripe payment link for the $99 RPL fee plus your first year of membership.

  • Get your credential

    Once payment is received, your UPCC Level 1 credential is issued and full member portal access is unlocked. Use the Forgot Password flow to set your account password.
